Prospective Students

Student Life

The Ursuline mission focuses on the development of each young woman through academic and extra- and co-curricular experiences that enrich her mind, body and spirit. The goal is a balance of academics and values, spiritual formation and physical pursuits, personal fulfillment, leadership development and fun!

Ursuline High School offers a wide variety of organizations and clubs. There is an activity for just about every interest, and many opportunities to make new friends. Organizations such as LINK, ASB, Class Office, and Campus Ministry offer avenues for leadership training. Others promote speech and debate development (JSA, Model UN), social interaction and service to others.

The Ursuline traditions also nurture student life. These cherished activities include annual retreats which help students grow together as a class while nurturing spiritual development. Community building among new students begins early in the year with freshman LINK Day. During spirit weeks the entire student body participates in lunchtime activities, rallies and events, all to promote school spirit. Freshmen enjoy their Cultural Geography Trip to China Town each year. Sophomores experience the World History Trials and a cross-curricular Victorian Faire. Juniors receive their class rings at a formal ring ceremony, and a spring highlight is the Humanities Lecture Series. Senior year is filled with memory-making events, closing with the senior trip and a beautiful and moving Baccalaureate and graduation ceremony.

Last but not least, check out Bear Wear, the Ursuline Clothing Store. Here you can order Ursuline polos, sweatshirts, fleeces, and other spirit apparel on-line.
