Student Activities
Freshman Class: The Freshman Class begins the school year with Orientation organized by the Ursuline Link Crew. The freshmen are welcomed to the school at the Welcome Rally and the Welcome Dance. In September and January Freshman Retreats are held. The year also includes a Cultural Geography Field Trip, a Free to Be Day, a 9th Grade Overnight, and the Freshman Slide Show at the end of the year in conjunction with Move Up Day.
Sophomore Class: Sophomores look forward to their retreats in the fall and the spring. The Spring Retreat is an overnight event. The sophomores organize the Turn About Dance and the Mother/Daughter Brunch. Sophomores also look forward to the World History Trials and the Victorian Faire (an integrated curricular project in the spring semester).
Junior Class: The juniors look forward to their Junior Ring Ceremony in October. Juniors put on the Junior/Senior Prom. They also go on a joint overnight retreat with the boys from Cardinal Newman. Juniors pick one of the three retreat overnight dates.
Senior Class: CBSL Project Planning helps bring all members of the class together as they prepare for a happy and productive senior year. The seniors sponsor the Welcome Dance, the Father/Daughter Dinner Dance, and the Senior Trip which occurs just prior to Graduation. Seniors enjoy being honored by the juniors by the Junior/Senior Prom. The year culminates in the Baccalaureate Mass and Awards Ceremony, followed by Graduation and the Project Graduation Party.
Associated Student Body
Students may propose new clubs at the beginning of each school year via the Associated Student Body.
The ASB, moderated by the Activities Director, meets to discuss new proposals for clubs and activities.
The ASB sponsors rallies, Homecoming, spirit weeks, Kris Kringles, various dances and other activities
and projects. The ASB is made up of elected Student Body Officers. Members of the ASB are enrolled in
the Leadership Class.
Approval of clubs and activities is subject to the discretion of the Principal.
