Liturgies
Liturgies are an important component of the Ursuline High School educational experience. Students learn about the structure of liturgies in 9th Grade Scripture Study and in 10th Grade Church History. Students in the Campus Ministry classes work with their instructors and other interested students to prepare each school liturgy. Some liturgies are held in conjunction with Cardinal Newman High School.
Ursuline has a Liturgy Coordinator who oversees the liturgical experiences for our students. There is generally at least one liturgical experience per month (most often in the form of mass), and mass is also offered on holy days of obligation. A communion service is held at 7:40 a.m. on Friday mornings in the Ursuline Chapel. On the first Friday of the month this communion service is held in Brescia Hall.
