Visit Ursuline
A campus visit is a wonderful way to familiarize yourself with all that Ursuline has to offer. We have many ways for you to get to know us:
• Campus Tours• Shadowing
• Eight Grade Preview Day
• Admissions Information Events
Campus Tours
Campus tours are available any time, with a reservation. These tours last between 30-40 minutes and are for
prospective students as well as their families. In addition to seeing the school, you will learn more about
academics and student life at Ursuline, including clubs, sports teams, service programs and the fine arts.
You will also be introduced to the history of Ursuline and encouraged ask questions to become as familiar as
possible with Ursuline during your visit. To arrange a campus tour, e-mail your request to our Director of
Admissions, Giulia Zunino, or call 707-524-1133.
Shadowing
Shadowing is another opportunity to check out Ursuline. We pair you up with someone in your prospective grade.
For example, if you are an eighth grader, we will pair you up with a ninth grader. You will spend an entire
day with your Ursuline student, shadowing her and attending her classes. She will show you the campus, tell
you about student life and make your day comfortable and fun. We try to setup shadowing on Mondays, since it
is the only day that we have all 7 classes and you can really get a feel for the different subjects that are
taught. If you are interested in shadowing, just e-mail our Director of Admissions,
Giulia Zunino, or call
707-524-1133, and she will setup a date for you to come in. If Monday doesn’t work, then another day will
be chosen. If you know someone at Ursuline and would like to request shadowing them, that is perfectly fine.
If you don’t know anyone, we will set you up with someone. Our girls love the opportunity to show prospective
students what a wonderful place Ursuline is!
Eighth Grade Preview Day
Preview Day, also called Student Visitation Day, is held in October. This is open to any
current eighth grader. We invite you to spend most of the day on the Ursuline campus, meeting new people,
getting to know the students, sitting in on classes and just acquainting yourself with the Ursuline community.
This day begins at 8:15 a.m. and will end after lunch with your group at 1:15 p.m. You will be with a group
of students from different schools all over the county. This is a really exciting day and it’s a great way
for you to meet other eighth graders that are also interested in attending Ursuline. Student tour guides will
be escorting you to different classes during the day and will be happy to answer any questions that you may
have. RSVP in advance is requested.
Admissions Information Events
There are two Admissions Information Events during the year. Both of these are in November. Please figure about two hours for each event. Both are exactly the same,
so you will only need to attend one. These events are a fun and informative way for you to learn about
Ursuline. The night starts off with a few speakers who will educate you about Ursuline. Following the
presentation, you will be taken on a student led tour through some classrooms where you will have a chance
to hear different departments talk about their curriculum and get a chance to speak with the teachers. These
Admissions Information Events are open to the entire family. RSVP in advance is requested.
