Basketball – Shooting Clinic

Basketball shooting mechanics will be covered in this skill enhancing clinic. Improve your techniques on the one-hand set shot, the free throw, and the lay-up. Learn basic mechanics, including sighting, balance, hand position, elbow-in alignment, shooting rhythm, and follow-through. We will meet in the Ursuline gym. Wear shorts and athletic shoes. Camp fee includes t-shirt.

Ursuline High School and neighboring Cloverleaf Ranch will partner to bring the excitement of summer camp to 4th – 6th grade girls and 7th - 9th grade girls. Our newest girl camp is a full day of EXTREME ADVENTURE and is designed to provide a unique atmosphere where girls are respected, nurtured, challenged and empowered. This quite possibly will be the best week of your child’s summer! Under the guidance of our staff, campers will participate in activities that build self-esteem, develop skills, Increase knowledge, enhance teamwork & cooperative behaviors and have EXTREME FUN! Activities will include Archery, High Ropes Course, Horseback Riding Lessons, Kayaking, Air Rifling, Juggling, Batting cages, Zip Line PLUS art, dance and self defense. We will meet on the Ursuline Campus – Look for the Ursuline Girl Camp signage! Wear shorts, t-shirt and athletic shoes. Bring a bathing suit and towel.

Olympic-style fencing is a fast-paced, high-energy, one-on-one sport that engages both the mind and body. Our fencing camp will introduce girls to the fundamentals of foil fencing: lunges, thrusts, parries, ripostes and the rules of right-of-way. Girls will engage in endurance, agility and flexibility games and drills in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Beginning and experienced fencers are welcome. We will meet in the Ursuline Dance Studio. All equipment is provided; please wear athletic shoes, athletic pants and a T-shirt. Camp fee includes t-shirt.
