2009 "Imagine That" Art Exhibit

"Imagine That!" is our annual art exhibit that showcases the work of Ursuline and Cardinal Newman students. It ran this year from February 26 to March 7th. This year we had over 200 entries. The exhibit is open to all students. The studio art students had many of their self-portraits in the style of an artist in the exhibit. The photography students submitted digitally altered photographs as well as black and white prints from the dark room. The low-relief mixed media works were from the Design classes. The AP Studio Art students submitted a variety of their works, including silhouettes and mixed media works. Many drawings were included. We even had turned wood bowls.
Our reception was held on February 28th from 4-7 PM. We were serenaded by piano solos and guitar ensembles. With food donated by a Cardinal Newman family. "Imagine That!" is wonderful way to see the creativity in our midst!
